One score (and movie) that, to me, deserves more love is STARDUST

This movie should not only be as celebrated and praised (if not more) as Princess Bride. It also deserves an expanded release of it's wonderful score by the talented Ilan Eshkeri.

I know, thanks to the internet, there's much more material than the 53 or so minutes available on the original album.

I wonder if this is on any of our beloved label's radar and plans?

And a rejected score by Ottman.

And a rejected score by Doyle.

Wasn't it Ottman?

Oh, my mistake. Yes, Ottman. I'll edit my above post.

I love this score too. I was never as taken with another Eshkeri score as I was with this one. I think all the classical pastiche kind of pushed it over the top for me, but many of the original cues were pretty great as well.
