iTunes is have a soundtrack sale. All soundtracks are 6.99. Unlike times past, film scores predominate. The songs collections, those that there are, are quite good like St Elmo's Fire or Lost Boys. Id say 2/3 are filmscores. Many have recognizable composers like Silvestri, Williams, James Newton Howard, Bear McCreary etc. Was able to fill in real holes in my digital collection. Traditionally itunes specials run till thursday 11:59pm but thinks starting getting wonky around 10-11 as prices start to revert. I would not miss out on this sale if you use iTunes or own and/or Apple device.
No CD no sale types can just move on to another thread.
No "no CD, no sale" from me, but I have never ever paid for a lossy download, and my NAS is lossy free. So it’s 16bit/44.1kHz and up, but not down for me.
But definitively a good heads-up for all who don't care about such issues.
