I have no idea who did it. I’m renting and have been here for 10 years without a problem, then I was broken in to twice in three weeks. I think I disturbed the person(s) first time around because they didn’t take much. I secured the place as best I could knowing that they would come back. And they did. Took a lot of my collectable stuff and randoms CDs that much have been easy to grab off the shelf. I suspect it was just some random drug affected person.
This sucks and Im glad at least you can get the LOTR set now.
As for the blue box replacement I would suggest to get the 4 Superman reissued sets from La La Land Records before they sell out completely.The sound quality is upgraded and better. The special blue box book could also be obtained directly from Lukas Kendall as he has a box full of them.
Unless you already have the new sets and want the old blue box set...then the hunt must go on. A lot of folkes upgraded to LLL sets so anyone else doesnt need the old set can contact you.
Happy to report that Rick has been made whole. He reported that LOTR was received safe and sound, and that he was also able to secure a Blue Box via a UK seller - coincidentally both arrived for him the same day.
