ALIEN: ROMULUS---trailer released for the movie set between ALIEN and ALIENS.
Director Fede Alvarez commented on meeting with Ridley Scott, "He did! As intimidating as it is, that’s the best part of being able to work on something like this. For all of us and whatever it is that we do, the dream is to sit down with the masters of our craft and have a conversation about what we do and learn how to do it better. And the process of making this film definitely gave me that experience with Ridley.
At the story level, we first told him what I was planning to do, and then when he read it, I discussed the script with him. And later, when he watched the movie, I discussed my cut with him. So I consider each one of those moments and creative conversations with Ridley to be a highlight of my career and my life.”
Alvarez said he also talked to James Cameron, “James Cameron is also someone I’ve met through the years, and when he learned that I was doing it, we started chatting about it. So I also had that conversation with him at the script level. He’s now seen the movie and loved it. It’s also fascinating because [Cameron and Scott’s] notes and comments are completely different. (Laughs.) They wouldn’t repeat a note. Whatever Ridley said, Cameron said something different. They were all super smart comments, notes and thoughts on the film and the filmmaking, et cetera, but both of them have completely different approaches. So the fantastic part of being able to make this film is to have the chance to work with them.”

THE NAKED GUN---Sandra Huller (ANATOMY OF A FALL) is reportedly in talks to play Lt. Frank Drebin Jr.'s (Liam Neeson) love interest in the reboot of the franchise that starred Leslie Nielsen and Priscilla Presley.
THE LIBRARIANS: THE NEXT CHAPTER---CW spinoff underway of the series that was cancelled by TNT. Showrunner Dean Devlin posted a photo of co-star Jessica Green, who plays Charlie Cornwall, and Christian Kane, who returns in a recurring role as Jacob Stone. Callum McGowan, Olivia Morris, Bluey Robinson and Caroline Loncq also star.
DOWNTON ABBEY---Imelda Stauton confirmed to the BBC that a third movie is underway, “There will be the final film – there you go.”
TRIVIA---Harrison Ford battled the same two Russian actors in two movies.
In AIR FORCE ONE, the Presidential jet was skyjacked by Kazakh nationalists, and President James Marshall (Harrison Ford) battled the skyjackers, two of whom were played by Russian actors Andrew Divoff and Ilia Volok.
In INDIANA JONES AND THE KINGDOM OF THE CRYSTAL SKULL, Indiana Jones (Harrison Ford) is kidnapped and brought to the top secret Army base's Hangar 51 where secret artifacts are stored by Soviet soldiers including one played by Andrew Divoff. Later, Jones and Mutt are threatened in a diner by two "Russian Suits", one of whom was played by Ilia Volok.
