I don't know if you are familiar with Charles Cornell's youtube channell where he often analyzes film scores (How to Train Your Dragon, Dune, The Lord of the Rings, Pirates of the Caribbean and many more). It is worth a try, I really love how enthusiastic he can be while talking about the music.

You can find many film scores related material among his videos.

His technical analysis is fine, but he does that typical YouTube overreacting nonsense that turns me off EVERYTHING that he does.

Now, here is a small channel that's just straight forward, gets right to the point and honestly deserves your attention over a guy who has 1.6M followers. Show him some love!

Yeah, every single thing he listens to is 'mindblowing', 'whoa' and 'oh my god'. Like.....he can be interesting at times but man eh overreacts WAY too much.

He's a cool guy, been a fan since he'd musically interpret viral clips. I do appreciate his promotion of orchestral music and giving insight on people who often go unnoticed, instead of just talking out his ass (looking at you, Austin Wintory) or going over the same 10 John Williams scores.

The fuck you talking about? Wintory is one of the greatest film music ambassadors we have. He is honest, celebrates the artform without coming across as a nut case, and has a wealth of knowledge about film music to match his many years of experience. And he's a damn fine composer to boot!

If there is anyone I'd listen to about film music in the YouTube world, it's Austin Wintory.

You definitely have to be okay with the overly excited character he puts out for sure. Completely know what you mean. I’ve definitely built up a tolerance for at least some YouTubers like that in my feed over the years.

Also a huge fan of Austin Wintory’s channel btw.
