Wow!

Batman sounds great.

I haven't ween much of Millenium (they moved the show around the night schedule so much I couldn't follow), but the main title theme is one of the most beautiful TV themes.

We don't have T:TSCC here (unless it's on cable, I don't know- just like BG has not been shown on a regular free channel except recently, at the same time at something else, so I could not wathc it), but I trust McCreary to have done something interesting for it.

Splendid!

Well, that guy's facial reaction was pretty close to my reaction to your annoucement.

I've wanted the Batman TAS scores on CD since the show went on the air. For years, I've poked, prodded, emailed, snail-mailed, called and done everything short of harassment to everyone from Shirley Walker to Paul Dini to everyone on down the line.

To finally see this coming out shrink-wraps my eyes with tears. 15 years of frustration finally over with!

And then to see Millennium music! Two CDs worth! One of my all-time favorite shows finally getting a physical release! Its like this December 2nd annoucement was tailor made with me in mind. I've never had such a good Christmas. Never, ever, ever.

I will never be able to thank you enough, MV - you or your people at LLL. So the least I can do is to continue to buy from you. Thank you thank you thank you thank you THANK YOU.

A Batman release is a dream come true for us fans. This first volume of music mainly focuses on Shirley's work... and rightfully so. We hope to do future volumes that will further expand this amazing musical universe that she and other composers created.

In my humble opinion the work they did for this remarkable show is perhaps the finest music created for TV in the past 25 years!

Well ok. Let us not forget the same team's different sound for Batman Beyond. A score release of that music would also be in my shopping cart. Can't wait to order this on the second.

I realize that you may not want to tell us everything, given that you've only announced the order - but can you tell us what episodes are on this TAS release? Does it include music from the final season that was aired on the WB network?

What about us Superman Animated Series fans?

While I have no insider knowledge of these workings, its safe to say "where theres smoke, theres fire".

"It's gonna be Frank Black Tuesday."

Damn. I say...damn. Never saw these coming. Batman was just an incredible show and its music was astounding. It always annoyed me that Ms. Walker wasn't given a live action Batfilm, but she did an incredible job on Mask of the Phantasm. She never got the acclaim and recognition she deserved. I mean, jeez, they could have at least let her write the opening theme (but I inderstand the Elfman connection to the earlier films).

This album and the release of the complete series on DVD is an amazing 1-2 punch.

Millennium was/is my favorite Chris Carter TV series. Even when it was bad (which, sadly, wasn't rare), Lance Henrickson was so much fun to watch. It's a shame they never knew what to do with the series. The main titles are outstanding, and my second favorite Mark Snow TV theme (first is TJ Hooker). I am looking forward to both of these releases.

Thank you!

Walker's theme was bumped when the producers found out they could get Elfman to pen the title.

Walker's theme was used when the show changed to "The Adventures Of Batman & Robin"

That was a different series. There is oodles of music in the original series, I suspect The New Adventures would get it's own release, if it were to get released? But who knows!

Unbelievable... simply unbelievable... To have music from B:TAS is outstanding, I can't wait!

I would love to know which episodes and how the the cues are sequenced and arranged, if they are gathered into suites or not...
