Any John Williams is dynamite!

I've been waiting for PA for ages.

This is fantastic news! The FSM edition sold out before I discovered the label. So this is a real treat for me.

Thankyou La La!

Thank you for the artwork, MV. Love the choice to use the painting for Poseidon Adventure.

Was the FSM one not in stereo?

Only a few tracks were. I'd like to know what the dilemma was with FSM's production, though, since I don't own their CD.

I have the FSM CD and I am happy with it but I am tempted by the cover art and also by the new remastering. I will wait to see what people say about the sound quality and if it is really better than the FSM release
Personally (a bit egoistically) I would have preferred another release (of a completely unreleased score) but it is good that this Williams score is available again

MV, I know it may be asking a lot, but do you have a scan of the back artwork by any chance? I'm curious.

I am super happy! Because I only started collecting recently, I have never gotten the funds to afford the FSM version. Go La-La! No wonder these releases were supposed to stay secret; how can they top this?

It will be announced in just shy of 2 hours.

It's wonderful a stereo mix can be offered now.

It seems to be missing the "Paper Chase" cues. Guess I can't sell my FSM. Unless an expanded "Paper Chase" is coming?

YUK!!! YUK!!! horrible news Poseidon adventure by John Williams has to be the worst score wriiten by him... i have the LP and i did'nt like it that much....

Wish they had released something by Jerry Goldsmith

This is more than "an unfortunate post".

There was NEVER an LP soundtrack of "The Poseidon Adventure". Many posters here would not know that, but it was FSM's CD release that was the first legitimate issue of the score.

I'm not aware of any boot LPs, either.

So whatever it is that the writer thinks he has or had is NOT the soundtrack of "The Poseidon Adventure."

Wonderful! An expanded improved Williams from my favourite period of his work!

Probably another more-liked-by-non-fans-than-by-die-hard-fans-of-the-composer kind of release.
