For the last several years my ringtone has always been for a major project we have been working in, usually a black Friday one so if you were to be with me when I got a phone call you would know what we were working on. Lol

For instance, Superman has been my ringtone for many, many months. Jurassic Park was one. ET another. ??

I've got the "Pre-Crime Commercial" source track from Minority Report as my ringtone, it actually sounds like a real ringtone! To date nobody has noticed what it is or where it's from. wink

I was able to successfully transfer edited themes to my phone without any problems. I use Audacity and make the files MP3's.

Songs I have used are Close Encounters of the Third Kind - for my mother
How to Steal a Million - for my wife
Iron Man 3 for my Marvel loving son.
City of Heroes for my anime loving daughter
Aquarius for my hippy friend
Bride of Frankenstein for my monster loving brother
and
HAL 9000 speech for those sales calls I don't want to hear.

"I heard a Good, The Bad & The Ugly ringtone a year or two ago."

Interesting. A long time ago I installed the "Pocket watch chimes" from For a Few Dollars More on my phone and a few years ago I was travelling on a train in the UK and heard a phone behind me ring with GBU onboard.

I stopped using film music as ringtones. It stopped me from answering the phone. :-) (Yes this happened)

I adore music from Interstellar. Hans Zimmer does incredible things. I put this music even on my blog https://best-vegas.com/las-vegas-strip-map-2019/. I advise everyone to listen.

I've had the Laurel and Hardy theme on mine for years. Always gets a pleasant reaction.

Not film music, of course, but - mine is Oliver Hardy yelling "Fresh Fiiiiish!"
