Unless you mean the Right Stuff/North and South rerecording, The Right Stuff wouldn't fit for an encore release given how recent it is and that it was a club disc. Personally, I would rather Varese not touch it and it have a PROPER release from Intrada or Lalaland.
Oh, and another wish to add: Jurassic Park 20th Anniversary on a physical cd!!! Its been nearly a year since the digital only release and I still can't buy it as I don't live in the US (GRRR)
Hopefully some 90's Goldsmith. Small Soldiers or The Haunting would be my preferable choice, but Air Force One or L.A. Confidential would also be sweet.
Can't go wrong with a bit of Poledouris. Starship Troopers would be my top choice, but I wouldn't say no to Under Siege 2 or On Deadly Ground either.
And how about some Elliot? Sphere needs a expanded release!
And I can't believe nobody mentioned it but Predator 2 would also be sweet. Am I really the only one who wants that one?
I've heard the original Starship Troopers album was very expensive to release because two orchestras were used in recording the score. Would this mean that a club release with a limited number of copies might be prohibitively expensive to release, or do the limited edition rules mean that the fees aren't as much of an issue.
I guess what I'm wondering is if an expansion of this score is plausible, from a financial perspective, or if it's just a pipe dream and we shouldn't hope for an expanded release.
For some reason, I thought I'd heard rumblings that Apollo 13 was being worked on by another label, but that it might take a little while yet to come.
Chris.
Oh really how could it be enabled to be worked on by another label?
Apollo 13 wasn't a Varese release to begin with, so the chance that they'll release an expanded version is pretty much non existent. It'll probably be released La La Land or Intrada. Same for Armageddon btw
Has anyone actually heard about any clues to what they might be ??? If we are just doing a wish list I will throw mine out there for THE YOUNG INDIANA JONES CHRONICLES (long out of print and in need of expansion and better sound), ANY BASIL POLEDOURIS, JOHN BARRY, DAVID NEWMAN, and JOEL McNEELY.

Well, D2 mastering, the company that did the Abyss re-master, lists Goldsmith's The Blue Max on their list of Clients (under 2013 Soundtrack Reissues). See here: http://d2mastering.com/ (look at the client list).
I would guess that this is coming from either Intrada (maybe a reissue like Inchon), or Kritzerland (Bruce's upcoming Goldsmith) or it could be coming from the Varese Club as Varese also has a history with this score.
Senn555 has nothing better to do than sit next to his computer every minute of everyday and post the new releases before anyone else posts them. It makes him feel special.
Oh goody, Erik Donovan shows up in another thread just to dish out ad hominems. I hope you can move out of China someday, the air quality there appears to be affecting your mental health.
