I wonder what are the last tracks of cd2. Working versions? pop versions? Also disappointed that they're no alternates/unused cues. Music behind the Magic has the unreleased "Wolf Attack", which is an alternate for "Journey to the Castle" and also an alternate Transformation cue (which is really the alternate for the death of the beast) that I don't see here.

My guess would be that those last few tracks are demos, which is in keeping with the rest of the releases in this collection.

Keep the hits rolling Disney! Hoping for "The Rescuers" before years end. I don't imagine there's a lot missing from "The Great Mouse Detective", though I imagine Intrada would release that title. If Varese doesn't have it in perpetuity, certainly. I second a vote for Rescuers, though I would also like to see some of the package films (though the various big-name singers involved in those films may cause a few legal roadblocks [i.e. Bing Crosby on Ichabod and Mr. Toad]) and some more of their live-action stuff like Darby O'Gill or an expanded Bedknobs and Broomsticks.

Who knows if that music has even survived though, as to whether or not Disney stored those scores. Would definitely go for Ichabod and Mr Toad though, believe me.

Who knows if that music has even survived though, as to whether or not Disney stored those scores. Would definitely go for Ichabod and Mr Toad though, believe me. Walt Disney was probably the first in the film industry to foresee the value in storing and preserving his assets. Whether or not they survived rot and decay is another matter. Kasey actually has a point. Even if Walt made sure to preserve those tapes, there's still a chance they may not have survived. I mean, much of the CD for Alice in Wonderland was taken from a music-and-effects track, so it's possible this could be the case for the package films, though I honestly hope it isn't the case.
