And with each passing game, I'm wishing WE had bought Ross McCormack (scorer/hard-worker) instead of Ballotelli (insert expletive).

Shame you didn't - we could have got £35m for him smile

"Assem Allam: Hull City owner prepared to stop spending

Hull City owner Assem Allam says he will not invest a penny more in the club unless he wins an appeal to the Football Association to change their name to Hull Tigers."

Enjoy perpetual relegation, a$$hole. cool

Wee Brendy admits Mario was a last resort and the best available at the time. A ringing endorsement if ever I heard one. Almost making me wish Joe Allen was fit...

Liverpool sign Daniel Sturridge to a long-term deal--not out of panic, I'm sure.

Perhaps the Reds can get back on track at home vs. the resurgent West Brom tomorrow.

I thought it was a case of Liverpool maintaining its "Brand Identification"; exchanging one sociopath for another. wink

yes, had a petrol bomb chucked at me by those Best fans in the land!!
nice.
happy eighties days.

win for the hammers. our african power was on show again, pressurising the qpr players right from the back. fairly poor game, qpr were dreadful and we were just a bit luckier. kept the ball a bit better. Rangers didnt offer much upfront and with their lack of effort look like certs for relegation bar a palace-like turnaround. 3 points much needed. Still not sure whether we will get better or revert to shit.

chelsea looked impresssive.

I don't think your lot will struggle this season Bill.
You look stronger than some of the weaker ones, who look doomed already - Burnley, QPR...Everton wink
Glad we slugged out a vital 3 points before the effin England break. Just hope Sterling and Henderson come back in one piece.
Hopefully, with some injured dudes back (Sturridge, Allen, Can) we might start to kick on and show some of last seasons form. Lallana improving with every game and Ballotelli...anyway..
Looks like Leeds should have hung onto Redfearn TG. Not to say Darko will turn things around, but the points you were stackin up under Redfearn were impressive.

I've had several 'incidents' in my time following my local team. In fact, I can remember the occasions well as described in this article...

I remember that - it was about the time you used to see pictures of fans being helped out of the stands up and down the country with darts sticking out of their heads. Wasn't at the game myself, although I did see Geoff Hurst's hammers play at SJP in an earlier era.

In an ideal world, Darko's team will continue to improve every game (we have so far) and justify the decision to keep Redfearn working with the kids and occasionally taking a first team session. If Redfearn had got the gig permanently, he would inevitably have got the boot sooner or later, and his real talent seems to lie in bringing kids through - something all clubs (and England) desperately need.
