FAUST (self-titled debut, 1971)

Samples:

Since this album consists of three long tracks, the 30-second samples only allow the listener but a scant glimpse of the musical adventures one will be taken upon while listening to this album. Perhaps an amazon reviewer summed it up best when he wrote "Some of the wildest, weirdest, trippiest, scariest music can be found on this disc." Indeed.

Excellent choice there, Zelig!

Thanks. Miles and I are "together again" after a brief time apart...

Nice to see LOVE OVER GOLD getting some play. I really enjoy Mark Knopfler's music. He's not much of a critical favorite, but his music has a great deal of feeling. Private Investigations is a wonderful little noir soundtrack for the mind.

I am enjoying his new CD, KILL TO GET CRIMSON. We Can Get Wild is very touching.

Tim Buckley- Happy Sad

Tim Buckley's music is truly timeless. I used to be obsessed with his music, then went on to other things and hadn't listned to him in nearly ten years. Hearing him now, it's not nostalgia but brand new, though I've heard it a thousand times.
