"Hazel" S2. This sitcom doesn't interest me much, but it has been a stalled title for more than six years since Sony released S1, so fans of that will be happy. Release date is November 1. I've been watching it late nights on the AntennaTV channel. It's not a bad show, but some of the acting is certainly dreadful, particularly by patriarch Don DeFore. One of the worst actors in television history. He can't even say "Pass the salt" without overacting. Eesh. Shirley Booth is kinda quaint, but that voice begins to hurt after a while.

speaking of bad overactors..... Leonard Nimoy was absolutely awful in his early tv appearances. just watched an ep of M SQUAD where he plays James Coburn's brother ! it doesn't get any more wackier than seeing "Sleepy' Scott Newlan and Nimoy in the same scene!

HAZEL was a feeble sitcom, a waste of Booth's talent, I'm sure she did it for dough and residuals. I never laughed at any ep I saw. Typical early 60's network pablum. I used to get good laughs with roomates who left a mess and I'd say, "Hey! Do you think I'm Hazel?"

I LOVE LOVE LOVE LOVE LOVE LOVE LOVE LOVE LOVE LOVE LOVE LOVE LOVE LOVE LOVE LOVE LOVE LOVE Elizabeth Montgomery, thus I LOVE Bewitched! I loved her in the TZ episode called TWO, and THE LEGEND OF LIZZIE BORDEN. When she played dark, she was amazing. And I do love her light as well, so BEWITCHED is fun for me.

And Warner Archive quickly gives us the remainder of S1 of "The FBI", out today! http://www.wbshop.com/FBI-The-Season-1-Part-2/1000209934,default,pd.html?cgid=ARCHIVENEW Looking forward to seeing at last a good quality version of the episode "Flight To Harbin" with Arthur Hill as an airline hijacker and Jessica Walter and Nancy Kovack amongst the flight crew! I've always liked Arthur Hill, though I don't really know why. He's pretty bland, yet I always find him interesting to watch, especially when he's a bad guy (e.g. Futureworld). Am I remembering correctly that he was a baddie in an episode of The Invaders?

Can't remember his Invaders episode, but he was always the guy to go to for the seemingly affable guy in the first reel who turns out to be the baddie in the last act. He was the killer in the pilot episode of "Murder She Wrote" and then seven years later got to reprise the same role, paroled but innocent of the murder of the week.

Yes, her TZ episode with Charley Bronson was great. She was mighty yum with darker hair and a gun. LIZZIE BORDEN was awesome, too. I also have in my vast collection of goodies, the 1971 tv thriller THE VICTIM. It's a good n'creepy one! I also have the early 60's gangster noir JOHNNY COOL. She really looked yum in that one. Den Quiller007, "Johnny Cool" was just released on an M.G.M. On Demand D.V.D.-R. (do you have this?)
