2.) The Dialogue was my idea, it was carry over from the HALLOWEEN release we did earlier.
We however made sure that anyone could program out those tracks very easily if they don't want them, as a matter of fact in 2016 all you have to do is UN-CLICK them in ITUNES and you'll never heard them.

I own that album and yes, because the dialog tracks are easily programmed out, I don't have a problem with them.

I am a big fan on the movie as well, so once in a while, I even leave the dialog on. But either way, it's simple to get it your way.

Great sounding release, poor mixing/remixing choices imo.

The one thing i truly don't understand is that Alan Howarth did cut off the whole second rhythm sequence from "The President at the Train". That didn't make any sense at all.

Other than that, i quite enjoy this release for the unreleased tracks and the "alternative" Versions, but only complementary to the original Varèse release, which might Sound more dated, but perfect in my ears. I don't care about the dialogue, as it's easily skipped/programmed out. I'm glad to have the original release of "Atlanta Bank Robbery" from the BTILC Supertracks promo though!

Best,
Burnie

I too was initially confused about dropping the second half of "President at the Train" but as it turns out, that's how it appears in the film. So I suppose it's the "film mix" version of the cue. It's nice no have, I still prefer the album version.
What I'm really after is the film version of the end credits that has a longer sustain and some extra notes at the very end.

Absolutely agree about Atlanta Bank Robberry. The original, unaltered cue is way better than the remixed one. I hate the arbitrary "spray paint" noise they slapped over it.

This is a LOT of work , especially when you have you record orchestral pieces....and it never sounds exactly the same. Exactly the same is what film score people like.

Exactly this.

I only have the Silva expanded release not the Varese. Sounds ok to me! I just wish there were more music included.

The silva release is pretty much complete except for the extended version of the main theme which accompanies the end titles.
