Well, I didn't get to see all the movies I wanted to. I got aced out of "Finishing School" not once, but twice, as they re-played it on Sunday. I ordered the DVD, so at least I'll get to see it at home. Saw "Detour" and "Throne of Blood" opening night. "My Brilliant Career", "The Set-Up', "Creature from the Black Lagoon" in 3D, and "The Exorcist" on day two. "Kiss Me Deadly", "Kramer vs. Kramer", "Maurice" (what an amazing score!), "Show People" (which was interrupted by a false fire alarm"!), and "The Raven" on day three. "Places in the Heart", "Silk Stockings", and "The Phantom of the Opera" with the live orchestra on closing night. Fourteen movies in four days. Movie hangover the day after. Can't wait until next year's festival. Picked up copies of Bernard Herrmann's "Cape Fear", Ennio Morricone's "Red Sonja", and Jerry Goldsmith's "Link" and "IQ"/"Seconds" from Amoeba Records. What a trip!!!
