It's mentioned earlier, but Goldsmith's THE LAST RUN indeed features a great use of the harpsichord. This track, one of my favorite tracks on any soundtrack, is wild.

For a sheer lonely mood: John Barry's The Whisperers. For zaniness: John Addison's Tom Jones. For dazzling technique that action cue from Goldsmith's The Last Run. For wild jazz improvisations check out (not a soundtrack) Lalo Schifrin's Schifrin/Sade album, particularly "The Marquis de Sade." There is also nice use of the instrument in Legrand's The Go-Between." And, outside of the film composer world, I love Frank Zappa's use of the harpsichord on a tune called "twenty Small Cigars" from his Chunga's Revenge album.

Everyone has their favorite instruments when it comes to music themes and one of mine is the Harpsichord. From Danger Man to the Third Man the Harpsichord has been one of my favorite
instruments for Movie and TV theme interpretations. Do you have some favorite themes or music on this instrument?
