I watched today an episode of the western series Lawman entitled "The Showdown" (season 2) guest starring James Coburn as a mean revengist that provoked Marshal Dan Troop.
Now this tantalizing item we never heard of till a Pally posted the info on his Facebook page a week ago. With seminal Bond director Terence Young helming, "Jackpot" began filming in 1974 before the plug was pulled a year later. It was slated to co-star Charlotte Rampling and Richard Burton.
But HERE'S da kicker: Our Man Coburn evidently replaced Robert Mitchum but the entire enterprise (not Starship ) eventually shut down when funds disappeared and they couldn’t continue. But presumably whatever footage was captured still exists, so ya never know.
