I ordered Batman Returns 2cd and STV from SAE on December 2nd and still says pending...

Emailed SAE and they said waiting on represses of STV..

Now I looked at lalaland and if I read right, orders placed recently will have to wait until after the 1st of the year...

I'm just grrr right now! frown

I know how you feel. I ordered my Clash of the Titans from Intrada BEFORE they said the initial 1500 sold out and my order still says pending. I was thinking of calling SAE to see if they had them in stock and cancel my Intrada order.

Just because it still says "pending," doesn't mean you won't get a copy of the first 1,500. I doubt even Intrada can ship all 1500 in one or two days. wink

SAE is receiving an order, however Ed could not tell me how many they're getting... try emailing them.

It just annoys me that on SAE's website they show the STV score available and then be told waiting on represses...

I just hope it gets shipped soon. frown

We blew out of the first 3000 Trek's and have 1000 more coming in on Monday. Those 1000 are all spoken for and the last 1000 (of the 5000 run) will be in around Jan 2.

Batman Returns and Home Alone 1st batch are all gone. . . 2000 to start with. 500 Batman Returns came in today and another 500 Home Alones will be in stock next week.

The first 1500 Jades are just about gone, with another 500 coming in later next week, beginning of the following week along with the last 500 Human Targets.

Since Nov 30 we shipped out nearly 10,000 units of all our titles. We were prepared for the demand, but HOT DAMN, the demand was greater than we had initially anticipated. lol

More units of Trek, BR and Home Alone are on the way. SAE may have them back in stock by Dec 23.

Best,
MV

All I'm saying if the first batches of soundtracks were sold out in 2 days, then the websites should have been updated with a statement or something reflecting that.

Then people wouldn't get annoyed about waiting for their soundtracks... Then they would say oh ok.. I'll just wait for the next batch.

What is the problem here? You have your copy on order, you wont miss out on it. Is it so hard to wait a bit longer? I remember when Intrada released "Alien" and later "BTTF", I missed out on the first batch as well and had to wait a couple of weeks longer. But I knew I was getting it and they are now on my shelves.

And also if you don't like waiting, ever read this on SAE's order page?

Check this box if you do not want your order held for possible backorders.

By the way, I'm glad for La La Land that the titles are selling like hot cakes! A sign that the market is indeed healthy.

Which kinda sucks if you were waiting for the Intrada discs before ordering....

You think you've got problems, I'm still waiting for First Blood. Three weeks ago it was sent.

Must... have... Jerry.

Even if someones order went out, delivery may take a bit longer because of the larger volume of seasonal shipping.

Ha! My The Whisperers / Equus was lost somewhere in boundless spaces of Russian Post...
So I wait for new Casino Royale-67 from Kritzerland. I have offered Bruce Not to send replacement now, but wait for my next order (all the same it will be cheaper for him).
Also I hope, that new package will be with tracking number - so my "favourite" Russian Post couldn't lose my CD's with any impunity!

Mmmmm. One of the MAJOR problems with releasing CDs so close to Christmas. Probably best to avoid December altogether.

Some of us have waited thirty years of more for some of these things. Surely, an extra week or two can't hurt can it?
