All the good seats are gone... whatever is left is crappy, all the way on the top and to the sides. I ain't traveling to London for shitty seats.

Looks like tickets are available on seatwave.com .... but beware of hugely inflated prices. Hate the way this happens - but what can you do !! Glad I got mine already!

Wish I could go, but my Europe trip ends just a week or so before this concert. It wouldve been nice to attend this, as it would be awesome to hear the Royal Albert Hall Henry Willis Pipe Organ during Batman and Beetlejuice etc. smile

When the date draws nearer, we have to draw up the logistics of a huge get-together -- there are people I know from FSM, maintitles, jwfan, MFADT and even three Norwegian friends of mine that are coming!

Quite a lot of people of the French website Underscores are coming as well. That'be quite a massive get-together...but that's be great !

Enough people to fill up a large tent!

Not that there would be any chance to put up a large tent in the middle of London.

I want to order the airplane tickets soon, and I was wondering when everyone is in town for this. I have the choice of travelling from Vienna on Saturday or Sunday. If I'm alone in Vienna and everyone is in London on Saturday, I'll go Saturday. If no one is there yet, I might just as well spend Saturday night in Vienna.

Or is it too soon to ask?

I like to plan WAY ahead.

I would love an opportunity to meet up with some fellow film score fans whilst I am in London. It will be my first time overseas and I'll be on my own, so it'd be nice to see a friendly face.

I've now booked a hotel. A group of us (members of maintitles.net, for example) will be staying in the King's Cross area -- so if anyone wants to book there and hang out, that's cool.

I'll arrive from Vienna on Saturday, October 5th (probably around 18:00), and return to Norway on Tuesday at 16:00.

If no one stays there, I hope to meet some of you in relation to the Elfman concert Monday night. Maybe we'll try to organize a dinner in advance. Hang tight.

Thor and/or others please take LOTS of pictures so we can see all our film music brothers and sisters over the pond smile

I'm coming. From land of Finns. Another Finnish member from this board is coming aswell, and at least two more Finnish film music enthusiasts.
For me this trip will be a quick in-and-out type deal, as I've been to London last year and the year before that (both times Final Fantasy concerts). I arrive on Monday mid-day and depart on Wednesday early morning. So I might be up for any kind of meeting on Monday eve or Tuesday day, depending on how many have grown to hate me and want nothing to do with me (for instance because of my expression in my avatar of a picture of my face).

What kind of get-together have yous guys planned?

Nothing is planned yet.

I'm leaving on Tuesday, and so do many others, so any get-together is bound to be during the weekend or Monday before the concert.

I'll probably "start some wheels" once the date draws nearer.

So much for this being sold out months ago. I've just bought three unreserved Gallery tickets, and there are quite a few very good seats still available.
