I found a mint copy of Jurassic Park, the picture disc- in a box, at a swap meet, for one dollar. To tell you the truth, I would have paid up to $400 for it, so the $225 asking price was a real bargain. For those who took advantage of the 20% off sale, they got it for $180. Talk about a steal! Adam, I would've forked over a lot more money for it too, so $225 was very reasonable. Instant purchase of course! You must be talking about CDs, right? The vinyl rendition of the now OOP The Great Gatsby is selling for five hundred bucks right now on ebay, and higher. Instant purchase of course! You must be talking about CDs, right? Yes. That was around August 2000. I was out of town and had heard of this store through a friend. Needless to say, I far exceeded my CD budget for the day, but I got a bout a dozen of rare, OOP and highly desirable scores for a releatively parltry sum. Since Jones thankfully accidently spilled the beans on it's release, almost a year and-a-half before it came out, I was able to save up for it, since I had a little job back then. No way I could have bought it out-right then. If it wasn't for the crack-head lady (something I discoverd later) not paying me for a month's work and replacing me without notice, I could have saved up for the Superman box, too.
