Had the good fortune to have my 'Dune' CD signed by David Paich, Steve Lukather and Steve Porcaro

Lucky! Did they say anything about the Dune score?

No, unfortunately it was a quick meet and greet i won from the local newspaper.
Although Paich looked surprised someone actually bought the 'Dune' soundtrack big grin

I was to a great outdoor concert with Secret Garden on the very south peak of Norway today.

Elegie, from an earlier concert:

I see that Espen Grjotheim -- a childhood acquaintance of mine -- was part of that concert.

I saw Michael Buble at the O2 in London last month - fabulous concert, great entertainer and comes across as a genuinely likeable guy.

Yes. He has performed with them live before too, and he's also on some of their albums.

Doubtful if anyone here (except Norwegians) have heard of them, but it was about time! I've seen them a couple of times over the years -- and Lars Lillo Stenberg solo. No big fan or anything, but they're such an important part of Norwegian popular music, it's one of those bands you just have to see to 'expand one's cultural awareness', as it were.

Saw Depeche Mode on friday. Really good concert, but the highlight came the day after when we ran into Andy Fletcher and Dave Gahan outside their hotel in Oslo. Gahan signed a DM CD cover that I had bought just minutes earlier. :-D

Anyone here who has seen them on their Delta Machine Tour?

Yes, I should...

Several interesting concerts in Oslo next year, like Simple Minds in January and Peter Gabriel in May, so chances are high that I may contact you then.

A couple of weeks ago I attended the Houston Symphony Orchestra's concert of Grieg: In Autumn, Mozart: Piano Concerto No. 23 and Beethoven: Symphony No. 6, Pastoral. I went for the Beethoven.
