Erm.......Many of the names listed above, obviously!
Mostly, I think, the so-called "Super Models", who are famous for nothing more than parading up and down in ridiculous, vastly overpriced clothes that no one would be seen dead in in the street !
Well except for a few scenes in the original HALLOWEEN-78, I never thought any of his films reach past the 2 and a half star level.I feel for sure the music scores hurt a bunch of his films, His films just seem so bland to me. When I look at all the directors who became known for their genre work from a VAL LEWTON TO A TERENCE FISCHER. From a MARIO BAVA TO A DAVID CROENBERG AND DOZENS MORE, I feel JOHN just lacks much of any real stylish talent. They all have a sought of ABC TV TUESDAY MOVIE OF THE WEEK vibe to them. That is except the fact of course more violence blood and sex.Just never saw what was unique about him. To me it is very important if you make genre films to be unique. But then it is not the first time I heard it said by people John's genre films were really the roots of action films underneath them. They really are not genre films. So maybe that to me has something to do with it. But then action adventure directors as well do it better. to each one's own.
Russell Brand Tracy Morgan Heidi Klum (I'd much rather have Sharon Osbourne than this bag of boring on any judging panel) Oprah Kanye West the Cardassians (who I still can't tell apart but who all seem to be the butt of every coke whore joke)
oh and the Will Smith kids, can't leave out the Will Smith kids!
Regarding Bradley Cooper, I think he's ok in the Hangover movies, but I got annoyed by the tv airing of the Wimbledon mens final cutting to his reaction every minute! That's reason enough to make the list
Francis, I completely agree!!! With one slight exception...Bradley Cooper. I think he's a little overrated, but if you haven't seen The Place Beyond the Pines, put that on your list - it'll help equalize Cooper's position. Other than that, you pretty much nailed my exact choices!
J. Michael Straczynski -- Babylon 5 was a fine concept; too bad he didn't collaborate with someone who can write dialogue. His film scripts have been poor. And his comics -- gah, he's so busy with the self-aggrandizement and the showing off how clever he thinks he is that he forgets to actually write good comics. His ongoing popularity baffles me.
