How many times do i have to say IT?
    SOLARIS is an all-time favorite.
But, the 2 hours and forty(!) effin minutes i spent in a movie theater watching STINKER are probably the worst, most excruciating i ever spent

My 5 favourite films of 1979, not including the obvious out-of-competition status for
Blier's BUFFET FROID and Corneau's SERIE NOIRE are :

    ALIEN
    I...COMME ICARE
    MANHATTAN
    NORMA RAE
    TIME AFTER TIME
