Anyone received the ZOMBIE FLESH EATERS CD yet? I know the LPs were delayed but I haven't seen anything about the CD. My account says "due to ship Dec 13"

Anyone received the ZOMBIE FLESH EATERS CD yet? I know the LPs were delayed but I haven't seen anything about the CD. My account says "due to ship Dec 13" I have the CD in hand, I received it earlier this week from the Dusty Groove website. The website is currently showing the CD as "Temporarily Out Of Stock" and the LP as "Just Sold Out!", so any production delays must have been resolved.

Bizarre. I went to quote one of Yavar's posts in this thread, but when I logged in, all his posts suddenly disappeared!?! I came in here intending to ask about how the new remaster of LO CHIAMAVANO TRINITÀ is, and whether it's worth picking up- despite like most Italian scores I've heard, seeming very repetitious. A download of a 26 minute CAM release is only $9. OTOH, it seems like those older mastered tracks have something of a brickwalled quality to them. OTO, maybe 26 minutes is more than enough, when the same theme is repeated endlessly (as catchy as it is)? $25 remastered 2 discs, versus $9 for possibly more limited dynamics and less than 30 minutes? If the sonic quality of the remaster is worth it, I'll go for it. Despite my other reservations.

Nope. No one is on the ignore list (thanks for the sugg, though). I was going to quote a post of his on page 7 or 8 in which he had posted a youtube clip. I'm not seeing any posts from him on those or any of the preceding/subsequent pages. Weird.

Huh. I didn’t do anything with my posts… can you see this one? Yavar

Yeah, the last one is showing up. Odd as hell. So Yavar, you wouldn't have happened to have purchased the Micalizi? I agree that the title tune is catchy as hell- I just don't know if I'll still feel that way after two cds of it endlessly rejiggered.

I haven’t even purchased the new Masada yet. From the end of 2021 I got Diary of Anne Frank and as a gift, Fiddler on the Roof. But I’m still interested in this too! Like you I’d love to hear from more people who picked it up. Yavar

So what's the story on all the "Trinity's Valley" cues? Going by BEAT's online listing for their previous 2004 expanded (but not 2CD) edition, it sounds like those are from a rejected score by the same composer for the same film? Sort of a Basil Poledouris/Breakdown situation? http://www.beatrecords.it/shop.asp?lingua=e&idprodotto=DPDM009 "Listening to the original Session tapes we found 9 alternate takes of the album tracks plus 3 tracks from the reject score never used in the final cut of the movie featuring an exciting epic orchestral theme for Trinity totally different than the original famous version." But on their NEW 2 CD product listing, no details are given about the rejected score or those cues (and it seems like more of them have been found and included on the additional disc): http://www.beatrecords.it/shop.asp?lingua=e&idprodotto=DDJ25DLX Anyone know more about the story? The liner notes aren't helpful at all, there... Yavar

Anyone know more about the story? The liner notes aren't helpful at all, there... Yavar If my memory is still OK- I seem to recall that it was Micalizzi's first attempt. Then something changed. What, exactly, I can't recall. Might have been the pictures tone. So he was asked.to restore.
