I remember a longer time ago, MV saying that no further CDs are produced. Although not all possible 2000 copys had been made, but the produced CDs probably sold extremely slowly.
I hope my memory is correct.
But maybe they have changed their mind in the meantime and only wait long enough until a correspondingly large demand has developed.
Who knows?
So if only 1000 or 1500 CDs of the possible 2000 CDs have been made and sold, there is a chance that the production of another 500 CDs may be ordered again at some point.
But that's just speculation.
It was probably just forgotten to change the information "Temporarily Out Of Stock" to "Sold Out" or "Out Of Print".

Danny Elfman Batman Collection--when will that be back in-stock or is it OOP?
I asked this once before (about a year or so ago), but circumstances prevented me from buying at the time. If it's coming back, come hell or high water I'm ordering this time!!
We plan on getting this back in the Fall. Want to bring in the last 500 Lethal Sets and More Harry Potters first. These 3rd party deals are super expensive and we need to make sure we have enough extra dough to bring back these pricey sets...especially nowadays
