"When I'm sitting around mopin', sittin' around mopin'..." ----------------- Someone's been playing Goldsmith's TWILIGHT ZONE MOVIE score recently!!! Only here could more than one person have that thought. And I'm positive of that and about that.

Many many super thanks for Lukas and his label Film Score Monthly who released "CHiPs" (Volume 1) which I have played the shit out of, "Star Trek II: The Wrath of khan" which I had been waiting for the full score of since I saw the film, the score I never knew I wanted but can't live without -- "The Omega Man", and more.

Alright, let's do a "positive rant". FSM has been hugely influential in my life. When I started subscribing to the magazine in '96, at a measly 19 years old, I thought I was the only person in the world interested in film music. The magazine opened my eyes to a whole world of likeminded fans beyond the Norwegian borders (and even within). The messageboard even more so when I joined upon its launch in '98, while serving in the army and trying to 'sneak myself' into the computer room for a quick FSM fix on slow modems. God, it's been more than 20 years! Since then, it's been an obligatory stop several times a week. There have always been...uhm, "peculiar individuals" with rancid language roaming about (so this is not really a new phenomenon), launching out personal offenses left and right. I'm well aware I've been a controversial figure too, not because of rancid language or personal offenses (which I rarely do), but because of my minority view on certain issues, like the infamous C&C. I 'crusaded' more violently against this up to the early 2010s. Since then, I've grown older and weary, and don't feel like commenting much on the issue anymore. Everyone knows where I stand anyway. But inbetween all the mayhem, there has always -- ALWAYS -- been interesting discussions going on, if you look for them. They might be fewer these days, but they're still here. FSM is still the most popular film music messageboard on the internet, so that means you'll get the whole shebang; from the mayhem to the insightful. So I'm very thankful that Lukas started this all those years ago, and I hope to be a member for as long as I can, or am allowed to. VIVE LA FSM!

So now that you've played "the shit" out of your CHiPs CD, all that's left are the very best notes

It's all about the music. I've acted on many a recommendation from this board and I'm glad it's still around.
