Kidnapped was released on CD - at least it is in the first Vladimir Cosma Box Set under the French title Les Aventures de David Balfour.

Another title:

Morricone: The Scarlet and the Black.

and, I'd like to mention ... as I want smile ...full CD releases of these easy-listening (film music related) albums ... odd tracks have appeared on CD, except for *, as far as I know:

Big Western Movie Themes, Vol.II (1971) - Geoff Love

If it comes to that, where's Geoff Love's Big Western Movie Themes Volume III (which includes Wild Rovers and is probably the only time he covered Jerry Goldsmith)? Could Dutton Vocalion put both Vol 2 and 3 togeher on a CD? I would buy that instantly.

I've got Shaft In Africa on an out of print CD from Rhino. If I remember it was one of their limited editions with a small pressing. It's in a cardboard replica of the LP jacket with no notes etc. So not a wide release.

Isn't most of the SHAFT IN AFRICA album included on a CD called THE BEST OF SHAFT?

Indeed it is though it would still be nice to have a dedicated CD release
