Two weeks later... and still no shipping confirmation.
I received an email a couple weeks back that it would be shipping on July 7th. Nothing since though.
Oh well.

Just want to share with all of you that I finished reading my copy and it's a real treat.
Also the book is thick, heavy and with a lot of photos. I enjoyed every page of it !!

Hmmm... I suspect this is just a poorly organized place rather than a scam (at least I hope so). I also used PayPal so if I have to, I can also challenge this. I'm not giving up on this publisher yet but if August rolls around and there's still no word, I'm bailing.

I paid on June 22nd.
Never even got them to confirm that the payment was received since their system just didn't work and I couldn't get through their checkout. Ever since then it always takes a week to make them respond to anything with more promises and delays.
Last time I heard from them was July 1st:
"We wouldt like to communicate with you that the three book JERRY GOLDSMITH: A musical Chameleon will be mailed from 7th july. Your purchased volume will carry a personalised dedicatiom from the author, Christian Aguilera. The next week we send you the tracking number. The pay for PayPay will be confirmated the 7th july.
Will be a pleasure to receive your feedback on Jerry Goldsmith: A Musical Chameleon"
Nothing since.
Same here and unfortunately when I just checked, I had not used PayPal so now I'm faced with the prospect of challenging it with my CC company directly. Damn.
Well, at least we know Jeff Bond's books will be legit and handled much better than this.

I hope this wave of doubts and complaints only reflects buyers expecting every mail-order business to be Amazon. That's not necessarily realistic; especially for international deliveries under current conditions.
Before too many of you initiate credit-card chargebacks and pursue PayPal cancelations, I ordered/paid for MY copy of this Spanish book (the English translation) about a week ago. In just the past five minutes I received e-mail confirmation including a photo of the package with address label. They told me it shipped on Friday (three days ago).
Even a little more patience will serve us well in life.

Well... lucky you getting it all done within a few days... after 4 WEEKS (!) of waiting, empty promises, ZERO update and no communication I am quite fed up with such incompetence on their part. If this is the way they intend to do business, I guess they won't stay here for long.
Have you checked your spam folder recently?
