I saw somewhere on here that a 20 second cue is the only thing missing from this release. Just curious, does anybody know which cue is missing or which part of the film it's in?

Bavmorda Slaps Kael.

This cue is included in the full score book - it would be great if someone clever could do a mock up.

She what?

Return the slap and make sure the music playing during your slap is being released. That will teach her.

For those wondering what they're missing on this set (not much really):

Oh wow, just sounds like a really quick transition cue. Not really disappointed at all if that's all that was left off of this! Wonder if someone has tried doing BD rips and cleaning it up to remove the sound FX for that one little cue.

First listen to CD1 tonight….how in the world could “The Island” not be included on the original soundtrack. Completely gorgeous and a splendid recording. Just awesome. Can’t wait for CD2!!! wink

For me, it's how in the world could “Sled Ride” not be included on the original soundtrack

The original album was already very long. If Sled Ride had been included most likely something else would have to be removed that also people wanted.

Well, you know, they could have dropped Willow's Theme since it is only an edit of stuff that appears elsewhere on the album. To be honest, the score doesn't really have a weak spot and it needs to experienced in full. As demonstrated by this great release.

I was wondering about that myself today, that's almost four minutes that could have been another cue.

I mean, it's moot now that we have everything except that evil slap scene, but I was thinking a lot about the real estate on the original album given how long it already was, and that they somehow managed to squeeze all that onto a single LP. On the other hand, it makes sense that “Willow's Theme” would have been the industry promotional single for the album.

Wow just wow. What an astonishing work of art…. Seriously. This score ranks among my favorite of Horner now. It really was not on my radar… hadn’t listened to it for years. Great release Intrada!

Agree, The Sled Ride is great. Must have been some hard decisions made for the OST. Terrific release, a definite highlight of the year for me.

I hadn't listened to this in ... years. But since getting the Intrada last Friday, it's been playing every day. Not that I'd forgotten how darn good this is, but, WOW ! What a fantastic release, really a smashing job from Intrada.

Back in stock!!

Just about to say the same thing. My order has shipped from Intrada (including LLL's Jurassic Park) so they must have received the next batch.
Should receive sometime in the next two weeks.

When been waiting this long for the expanded soundtrack what's two more weeks.....

Not sure if the images of the set help or just make the wait harder.

I ordered from Intrada on 7/3, order shipped 7/13 and received today in Southwest Virgina, 7/18. It's a really lovely set and does a great service to Horner's work. Intrada knocks it out of the park again.

Same-same. Made it's way from LA to Toronto 2 1/2 weeks ago, there it apparently departed to be accepted in a facility in Canada (?)
Weird.
