The music samples sound "okay" to me -- though often I find I best like the music that didn't make it to the samples. I have ordered it just the same, as I intend to buy any and every Billy Goldenberg release in the hopes that by selling well they will prompt some enterprising label to start putting out collections of his TV music, as in Columbo and much more. Goldenberg had a distinctive, era-defining sound which cries out for release. Thanks for taking the leap, Bruce, and may there be many more just like it to savor in the hopefully near future.

It's always hard to figure out which six tracks to use for the samples - I try to give a good sampling of various styles of tracks - but there are some very cool tracks that are very Goldenbergian.

Yeah, there's no way to please everybody. While I like good jazzy title tracks and even source music usually, I really like to hear samples of the underscore as a gauge of how much I am likely to enjoy listening to a particular score. What's boring "program around" music to a lot of the younger film score fans is really at the heart of my love of film music.

it is that very sound that i listen for. I detected only one sample which features that kind of writing. Hopefully, there is more on the actual cd.
I guess i will find out when Kritzerland sends me my review copy

I don't want to be impatient but has anyone already guessed what's coming next? smile Or is it already time for the release with two composers (one Russian, one Polish) sharing a credit? smile

CDs arrive Thursday, about four weeks ahead of the actual release date. They'll ship right then. And no one has guessed what's next. It's not what you think - that will be a couple of weeks later.

Hmmm Did I miss the clues (for next release) or looking at the wrong thread? :-)

Oh, wait now...

you didn't say what it is yet.

Thanks for "Busting", Bruce! Seemed just weeks ago we were begging for some/ANY Goldenberg, and you were on it!

Thanks! Close shave it was! I'll definitely be in touch this weekend, promise.
I'd love making "Busting" my first K-land purchase, but times are still tough.

All Busting CDs shipped out today. Of course I made sure they had the correct label smile

Now, no one has guessed our next release? How unseemly.

Is this a composer who has been featured on at least two different previous Kritzerland releases?
