The music samples sound "okay" to me -- though often I find I best like the music that didn't make it to the samples. I have ordered it just the same, as I intend to buy any and every Billy Goldenberg release in the hopes that by selling well they will prompt some enterprising label to start putting out collections of his TV music, as in Columbo and much more. Goldenberg had a distinctive, era-defining sound which cries out for release. Thanks for taking the leap, Bruce, and may there be many more just like it to savor in the hopefully near future.
It's always hard to figure out which six tracks to use for the samples - I try to give a good sampling of various styles of tracks - but there are some very cool tracks that are very Goldenbergian.
Yeah, there's no way to please everybody. While I like good jazzy title tracks and even source music usually, I really like to hear samples of the underscore as a gauge of how much I am likely to enjoy listening to a particular score. What's boring "program around" music to a lot of the younger film score fans is really at the heart of my love of film music.

it is that very sound that i listen for. I detected only one sample which features that kind of writing. Hopefully, there is more on the actual cd. I guess i will find out when Kritzerland sends me my review copy
I don't want to be impatient but has anyone already guessed what's coming next? Or is it already time for the release with two composers (one Russian, one Polish) sharing a credit?

Ever look up when you hear birds going "Cheep! Cheep!", Bruce?
Have the CDs started shipping yet or maybe sometime this week? Hate being this impatient haha I am more excited for this than Star Trek III.
CDs arrive Thursday, about four weeks ahead of the actual release date. They'll ship right then. And no one has guessed what's next. It's not what you think - that will be a couple of weeks later.

Hmmm Did I miss the clues (for next release) or looking at the wrong thread? :-)

No, we haven't done any clews yet - but it's another genre film from one of my favorite eras

I'll send you a Rolex if it's 'Play It Again, Sam' or 'The Last of Sheila'!
THis is going to be manna from Heaven for a Goldenberg fan like myself.
(Nice to see you back among the living, Zippy!)
Thanks! Close shave it was! I'll definitely be in touch this weekend, promise. I'd love making "Busting" my first K-land purchase, but times are still tough.
