Just in case you guys have to "redeliver" it at some point (or *IF* there's ever a physical release) I did notice one tiny error; track 36 starts a tad late, and cuts right into the middle of the opening note. Thank you for catching that - I just shot off an email to look into this! As for the mixes - these are mixes made for the album by Shawn Murphy; the episode mixes ARE different in places, but the album represents the composer's preferred vision of the music.

Straight from The Department of the News is There is No News: THE ORVILLE---co-star Chad L. Coleman commented on the status of a possible Season 4, "We’re all in the loop and out of the loop. We think it’s gonna happen, but it’s still up in the air. There’s so much going on with all of these studios that it’s just like, ‘Well, we gotta settle this thing first, then we can really decide on that thing.’ A bunch of that is going on. We hope so. Seth has an amazing relationship with Dana [Disney co-head Dana Walden] and with Disney, who’s running it now. And they said they’ve had promising meetings, so we’ll see." THE ORVILLE---Seth McFarlane posted his reply after a fan asked about the show's renewal, "The industry is in the midst of a time of upheaval and transition. I wish I could provide a definitive answer to your question. At the moment, all I can say is that I remain… cautiously optimistic." (Taken from two threads by dragon53 in the last few days)

Some one could always reply back to him: You need not fear the cancellation banana.

Hearing that it's not in high res is problematic - we delivered the album in 24-bit 48kHz. I'll look into this.... Any update on this?

Excellent! Now please tell me I don't have to repurchase it...

Please tell me I don't have to repurchase it... Really happy I held off. That's exactly the position I didn't want to be in. Though to be honest, I'm really surprised this is happening. I almost bought the existing release.

And it seems the new High-Res version is ONLY $20. Wow, I feel ripped off by Qobuz. And they have the gall to still be selling the old version (and still for $40 for lesser quality)! There are 3 versions of the exact same album currently listed on their site lol...
