Done deal. Why are folks complaining of the price? I do not get it. This is a major deal.

THANK YOU LA LA LAND!

At last, at long last, they finally did it.

This is great news!

This is a masterpiece release.

With Planet of the Apes The Series, La-La Land turns 2015 into a wonderful year.

Keep up the good work!

I can only echo Thomas's comments above. Great news smile

At last, we will able to listen to the season 4 score Submarine by Lalo Schifrin which foreshadows Planet of the Apes The Series!

Congratulates to all Mission Impossible music fans. I'm glad that your Holy Grail came through. And I envy you the experience of reading the linear notes. But please, please la La Land Records, please do the Six Million Dollar Man soundtrack? Please

I'm tempted because I love the series and the DVD box gets good mileage in my DVD-player but one thing watching AND listening has made evident to me is that very likely the soundtrack will not interest me too much. There is a whole lot of the same. The series is unique to me in that it got more entertaining as time went by, the first being the most boring as it was mostly spy stuff. It was much much much more fun when they messed up US criminal organisations.
The music was a lot of drum rolls a lot of the time.
Just having come from finding that I bought "Duel" only to store it as the music is unlistenable and lot of it is just noise, "The car" was less grating but still it too will be virtually factory fresh when it's time for my coffin.
Maybe, maybe not. Maybe the GNP CD is enough for me.
I sure am glad however for those who finally get their wish fulfilled. Maybe we will get a Batman 1966, Spider-man 1977 live action and others.

If anyone is unsure about the music, the show is streaming on Netflix last time I checked. I watched most of Season One this past spring. Outstanding stuff.

Sometimes stuff is marked for disappearing on the first of the month and then its back the next day.

Sometimes not, though...

I wouldn't really compare the M:I stuff with something like Duel. You are right the music in M:I is overall much more samey then the original Star Trek scores for example. I think the composers were very restricted on the show, whenever the M:I-team was doing their thing (and that was most of the time) it had to be some militaristic version of "The Plot". Only rarely the composers could sneak some music for the bad guys or the different locations in.

Nonetheless, I think 6 disks of music for seven years will do nicely. If they would have gone the Star Trek-way of putting everything composed for the show on disk it would get repetitive real soon, but with 6 disks - I think there's potential it will work, and if the Star Trek-box is any indication it will sound awesome, Mono or not.

This is fantastic. Congrats to all who will enjoy it. My budget only allows for the Krull and Capricorn One re-releases. Congrats to me on the unexpected re-releases.

I helped on this project. It's a terrific collection that cost a lot to produce properly. It's a more than fair price for collectors. Hope you love it. Mono sound is first-rate like Star Trek. We can only work with what exists and the realities of economics.

Complaints about price and mono elements....I read more and more of this pathetic type of complaining as rare, wonderful releases like this appear. You guys probably think Vintage Star Wars figures should still be available for $2.99!!!!

Just two decades or more ago people would gladly pay several more dollars for one CD from, for example, GNP Records, for a dsic of some tracks in what ever sound was possible and then talk amongst themselves how they'd wish there was a second volume, and then when some rare TV titles got a second volume, people would once again line up and pony up for mroe per disc than this new LLLR's set. Yet when LLLR's comes in, pays out the butt, does all kinds of work, gives a deluxe package and the best sound most of us will ever live to hear from the best sources there likely are, suddenly the lower price per disc is too much and the mono sound some kind of issue. Just click your heels together three times and wave you magic wand and provide us with these marvelouys stereo masters and lower re-use fees, until then, don't make me quote Gordon Ramsay.

I'm perfectly happy with Mono sound on this truly outstanding release!

But then again, I'm really into any kind of "archival" sound anyway with
many recordings that I have in my collection.

Also, I expect the sound on this set to be first-rate anyway!

I'm really looking forward to it!...:-)
