Excellent batch of releases! I have been anticipating the release of THE KILLING JOKE for a while now and had already planned on buying it, but now I get to add JUSTICE LEAGUE, THE FLASH, and SUPERGIRL! Thanks, LaLaLand!

Wonder Woman is one of the best TV themes of all times. I love all the different versions. Bring it on!

I'm especially stoked for BTAS 4! Haven't seen any of Justice League (only stuck with the continuum through Batman Beyond), but I'm interested to hear the music. From those who have, any remarks on how it compares to BTAS, Superman or Batman Beyond? The music in Justice League complements the tone of the show very well indeed. Whatever the story or scene - say, the big action spectacle of Secret Society, or the eerie dream sequences in Only a Dream, or the energetic Flash TV commercial in Eclipsed, or the Royal Flush Gang's explosive debut in Wild Cards, or the wonder of J'onn J'onzz discovering Christmas in Comfort and Joy, or the tragedy of Starcrossed - the mood of that story/scene is perfectly encapsulated by the scoring. It's all synth, so it will sound quite different to BTAS and STAS, but there's no question of the calibre of scoring professionalism in those shows carrying over into Justice League. And if you find, or have found, the music in BTAS and/or STAS wonderful, then you will think the same of the music in JL. No doubt about it. I hope this release sells well - it deserves to!

I'm assuming that the Justice League release covers only the first two seasons and nothing from Justice League Unlimited. Anyone know if this is correct?

I was re-watching scene via youtube of "Justice League" and I noticed something I had missed before: when Green Lantern is fighting a Hawk leader on a force field room in "Starcrossed: Part III", GL gets the better of the guy and the theme music that is playing is the Green Lantern theme from the "Superman: The Animated Series" Green Lantern episode "In Brightest Day". Very cool nod.

I'll be buying all five CDs.... expensive month. The delta-shaped vinyl kind of tempts me... I'll have to see how much it adds to the shipping price for Canada.

Speaking of shipping to Canada, wouldn't it just be cheaper to fly out to Comic Con and pick them up in person?

Speaking of shipping to Canada, wouldn't it just be cheaper to fly out to Comic Con and pick them up in person? Nah (actually shipping up here isn't usually that bad for small stuff like CDs... Europe and Asia have it bad, though). It could end up being much faster though, as there might be a mail stoppage at some point here this summer. If the vinyl ends up being too much, I may just end up having it shipped to my mailbox in Niagara Falls, NY and I can just drive down to pick it up. One of the advantages of being less than an hour from the border.

"Starcrossed: Part III" has a sad and touching cue that closes out the episode. "The Brave and the Bold: Part II" has some terrific action music, in pieces, as John tries to stop the missiles. Assuming all the action bits from that episode are on the set, one day when I ahve it it's going to be a rewarding task to edit them together into one long action piece. I found it amusing how Solovar proclaimed how more highly advanced Gorilla City technology was, yet Batman was able to pick his hand stocks with a thin metal wire. Next thing you know you'll tell me their entire city could be taken out with one torpedo blast down an exhaust port...

So very excited about the BTAS Vol. 4! Great comic-themed batch altogether. Such a great year so far for score fans
