No Goldsmith in the LLL Black Friday or Intrada final batch, will have to see if Quartet includes a Goldsmith title in its final batch of the year.

If memory serves me well from the previous years their announcement is usually the second week of December.

Got original Raggedy Man I predicted reissue I was feeling Macarthur too at the time, I've had Mac for years labels look at that hefty price one should step-up quick £, its not surprising it'd sell in a jiffy ltd-e, RM OOP 1 day, that was a great-reissue who needed that beauty.

An expanded 'The Specialist' (25th anniversary edition) by John Barry?

No chance - Sony Music title frown

I wouldn't say that. It seems that Sony in the US is restrictive with their third-party deals, but the Gerhardt titles are also Sony property and Dutton is still doing them.

I cannot recall whether Quartet Records usually gives an advance notice of the date and time of its final batch!

Do you really need that? It's too monotonous even on the original CD. The melodies are great, as usual for Barry, but in my opinion it gets extremely boring: those two melodies repeated over and over again...

Dutton May have sublicensed those from Sony Music before the moratorium. Remember these releases can take a little while to actually come out. Supposedly LLL and Intrada still have two each in the pipeline which were licensed from Sony Music...

So basically it can be everything...no clues.
I like that.People here all have their guesses.. and I have the feeling that when a title shows up more than three times its the right one for the release.
So I´m glad no one brings up STAR TREK:::BUFFY:::AIR FORCE ONE :::etc etc.

I have been checking their Facebook page and there has still been no update, one would expect the announcement on Monday 9 December.

I bet they were hoping for a big surprise, which typical "Oops -- We Announced too Early" Amazon spoiled.

I wonder if there's more that hasn't been revealed yet - or if it's just this title.

Details:

Quartet Records, Universal Music Group and Paramount Pictures celebrates the 50th anniversary of the iconic caper movie The Italian Job with the expanded edition of Quincy Jones explosive original score! The original album produced by George Martin at Abbey Road Studios appears freshly remastered, and the CD also includes the previously unreleased film tracks, demos, alternates and bonus material. It's soundtrack was composed by Quincy Jones, and includes "On Days Like These" sung by Matt Monro over the opening credits, and "Getta Bloomin' Move On" (usually referred to as "The Self-Preservation Society", after it's chorus) during the climactic car chase. Wow! That's a lot more than I expected for the year end batch. Can't wait to see what all it is. I can't imagine what an ELEVEN CD box set could be, but with that many discs it'll probably be super expensive ($150-$175?).

I predict that it's going to be the celebration of the most important and famous contemporary Spanish director. Ennio will be invited, but the most important guest be will someone else with a religious spanish last name!
