Or Lee Holdridge, Bruce Broughton or anyone else of those "hot" guys.

All of whom have scored more in the last ten years than Faltermeyer.

LOL! Are these the same people who get upset when John Scott isn’t hired for the latest Terminator film?

Says the man who posts more than Yavar. You need to take a look in the mirror.

Yes, but they will never be hired by Bruckheimer. Thankfully.

Which means they are "hot"; at least hotter than Faltermeyer, when it comes to being hired to score, which was your original point.

If you want to move the goal post in your continuing bizarre posting history at lashing out of orchestral composers and chastising members who even have a single bad thing to say about any electronic core, go head; it just looks very very very bad on you.

Faltermeyer is to washed up to score a major motion picture but Cruise isn’t to washed up to play an action hero?

Uhhh, have you SEEN any Tom Cruise movies in the past few years? Dude's a maniac, but he puts it on the screen.

Who’s the intellectual heavyweight on my ignore list that doesn’t know the difference between “to” and “too”?

Ran this through Google Translate.
Article focuses on the son and his involvement with the score.
Strange and nice to see the reason as to why Harold walked away from Hollywood standing side by side with the two legends.
Harold sounds like a proud dad.

Liked hearing the theme as we know it from the old film, but didn't like the brrraaaaammmmm underneath it.

LMAO! That's what I thought watching the trailer. Planes, Tom Cruise, planes, Tom Cruise. That's all I got from it.

The movie definitely is more modern day. So was the music. Not a bad thing. It fits for this time period. I’m excited about this collaboration.

I am SO OK with that!

What does seeing Tom Cruise on screen mean? It's a hint to the audience that there's a better than even chance that the insane thing they're seeing is real. (The stunt. Not Tom Cruise. Although he is an insane thing and by many accounts real.)
