I looked very carefully when I submitted the order and saw no possibility of paying by card. I have phoned the bank and they confirm that the money was taken from the account. So, I ask again, where is the money? La-La Land are no help. Let me give you a potted breakdown of what has transpired: (Incidentally, I don't blame La-La Land for any delay in receiving the emails mentioned below - this is all down the dreadful Polish provider,) May 31st early afternoon I submitted an order to La-La Land. The order went through and I immediately received an order number. May 31st 23.30. I received an email from La-La (timed 22:17) The heading: “Complete your purchase at La-La Land Records...” The text: You recently visited our online store and we noticed that you didn't complete your order for the following items:… To complete your order right now, just click on the link below:… Complete Your Order We look forward to receiving your order! So, seven hours after being told that the order had gone through, I received an email telling me to complete the aforementioned order and submit it! June 1st 01.30 (over three hours later) I received a second email from La-La (timed 20:47:02) The heading: “Your La-La Land Records Order Confirmation (#200721)” The text: The complete order invoice. (Thus confirming that the order had, in fact, been completed.) June 1st 01.37 I received a third mail from La-La (timed 20:47:08) Heading: “Your La-La Land Records Order Has Been Updated (#200721)” The text: An order you recently placed on our website has had its status changed. The status of order #200721 is now Awaiting Fulfillment Therefore, going by time of the initial order and times on the emails themselves, my La-La Land order was, in turn: 1. Completed/received 2. Confirmed 3. Awaiting fulfillment 4. Not completed/not received I have received no further update from La-La Land

Gah, why did I have to buy this full price on day one, and thoroughly enjoy it all this time, when I could've scrambled like a rabid lunatic to get it 30% off at the last second? WHY??? I could've gotten it cheaper AND afforded a stick of gum to chew frantically while listening, not knowing where the gum ended and my tongue began.

I was obliged to pay by Paypal, which I have never used before. (SAE, where I do all of my soundtrack purchases in the USA, does not require it.) I carefully entered all my details and the order seemed to go through without a problem. I was promptly given an order number. When I logged onto my new account at the La-La Land website, there was - and is still - no trace of any order being submitted. Furthermore, I have received no email to confirm the order. For some reason, I made an order using Chrome browser and it kept rejecting the order. I then made an order using MS Edge browser and it went through. Just a heads up.

Yes, exactly... I don't get all the bitching of people like it SOLD OUT all 10000 units within seconds, while everyone had YEARS AND YEARS to get a copy. But I guess it's like regular crying of those that received their CDs damaged from Varese yet they keep ordering from them. Some people will just never learn their lesson. IF YOU WANT SOMETHING, DON'T WAIT 8 YEARS TO GET IT. It's really that simple. To be honest, I get being broke and having to wait forever to afford something (I'm still crying over certain Danger Zone items from Intrada), and I also get that not everyone seeks low alert news like a psycho as I do, but if I miss out after 10,000 units, that's on me. I did miss out on the 1500 (?) TMP LP that I wanted to gift to my Trekkie brother, only because I've been eyeing Modiphius's Adventures Borg Cube box set for him.

John's already said he should have ordered earlier, and he's only posting here in desperation. Considering the title of this thread, it seems an appropriate place so why give him added grief. None from me, I assure you. I realize that he's new to collecting and is now realizing the harsh, cruel, unforgiving, post-apocalyptic-one-CD-manufacturing-plant, no-CD-no-sale, Witness-Me, The-Gun-Is-Good nature of limited edition soundtracks. I wish him well in his endeavors. PS: PayPal is assballs. Thankfully, LLL accepts other methods.

I was forced to use it here because all attempts to pay by card automatically rerouted me to Paypal. Naturally, I could have ordered the CDs through SAE, with their ultra-simple, direct card payments, but who doesn't want to save nearly a hundred bucks where possible? As for me being new to collecting, if you consider four thousand stacked-up-mighty-high budget-bustin' hot-dip-coated-in-aluminium coasters-in-the-makin' soundtrack CDs to be the mark of a doe-eyed neophyte, then sign me up for a newbie branding!

Update: However, he does point out that there are (literally) a thousand prior orders to send out. Yeah, but the point is you got the sale price, and whatever copies are reserved for you (in case any are on the low quantity list). As for Jarre Jarre's statement that LLL accepts non-paypal payment, that's not quite accurate. When you get to the "proceed to payment" button, you can login to your paypal account or click the grey box "Pay with debit or credit card." Choosing the latter sends you to "Paypal Guest Checkout." So even if I'm paying from another source, paypal is still involved. And that's exactly what happened to me! Thanks for your help, Last Child, and if you ever feel inclined to slip down the coast to Florida, I'd be happy to offer you a pint or two of your favourite nectar - and talk.... shrubs.
