Listening to it right now and I like it. The Horn motif in the first half of the Main Theme is very similar to this: https://youtu.be/KMDKU6K5sBA?t=1410 . "Tars Lamora" reminds me also of something classical but I don't know what. I really enjoy the chord heavy "USS Protostar NX-76884" and to my surprise most of the comedy music. Overall beautiful Trek music in Giacchino style. Kurtzman Trek has a lot of flaws the music is always a delight (yes, even the Jeff Russo scores...(except Discovery Season 1... that was underwhelming)).
I hope that another Volume will follow someday.
