I havent heard much of him (that I know of) but I absolutely LOVE his work for The Great Gatsby and Viktor Frankenstein. They are melodic, epic and rich with themes. Exactly what I like about score.

Can you let me know of other works of his which is in this style?

His solo work is sneezing as well. The Space Between Us, As if to Nothing, and I’m
Blanking on the name of the third.

Edit: amazing....not sneezing. Stupid auto correct

Like Keky I would also recommend FILM WORKS 1995-2005 (with excellent stuff from ROMEO AND JULIET, THE BONE COLLECTOR, PLUNKETT & MACLEANE, RAY, etc) as well as Armstrong's non-film albums THE SPACE BETWEEN US, AS IF TO NOTHING, ROSA MORTA & SUN ON YOU. Regarding his more recent scores, I also like WORLD TRADE CENTER (featuring a poignant main theme) and parts of ELIZABETH THE GOLDEN AGE. I didn't see the movie FAR FROM THE MADDING CROWD but the soundtrack alone didn't do much for me. I by far prefer it when Armstrong combines his great strings together with electronics, but that's nothing but a matter of taste.

He has a lot of gorgeous, lush arrangements from his pre-film scoring period too:

Yes, those are fine albums -- compilations are always a great gateway in.

Other than that, it's hard to go wrong with Armstrong, whether you like orchestral or electronic stuff. He does both equally well. I particularly recommend:

PLUNKETT & MACLEANE
WORLD TRADE CENTER
IN TIME
FAR FROM THE MADDING CROWD
MUSIC FOR THE FILMS OF PETER MULLAN
ELIZABETH: THE GOLDEN AGE

...and the FILM WORKS 1995-2005 CD, as previously mentioned.

Oh, and I forgot -- his recent non-film album ROSA MORTA is great too. I haven't bought it yet, but it's available on steaming platforms.

Thanx a lot for these suggestions!

Wow, I never knew he made non-score music as well! And specially those songs! They are huge hits!!
