Would love to see this get a release. I think the 3 tracks on the official record are edited album tracks as they are quite different from what appeared in the movie too. Make it a doublebil with Sylvester Levays Stone Cold as a "machodoublewhammy"

The track SKYLINE isn't even in the film.

I might. He doesn't often reply to emails though How many e-mails does he get and reply to on average? Let's say he replies to one of five emails.

I might. He doesn't often reply to emails though Please give it a try, he doesn’t seem to reply on Facebook messenger. Big chance that BSX records would release the full score of Cobra if Mr. Levay had all the DAT masters, it’s such an amazing score that has been neglected. Email sent.

Thanks, fingers crossed he has the DAT’s or some version of the recordings. It's a good news that BSX would like to release Cobra. Has BSX already looked into whether the tapes were at Warner Bros or MGM? It’s Warner, I’ve sent emails, no reply, they could possibly digitise their 24-track masters if they had them, like what happened on the Rocky IV re-master that Intrada put out on CD in 2010. That’s if they have the masters like the company that owns Rocky IV did. If anyone has a connection at Warner and can ask them about his, it would be good to find out, otherwise Mr. Levay may have the DAT’s.

Has BSX already looked into whether the tapes were at Warner Bros or MGM? It's still a Warner/CANNON GROUP production (golan globus production). The Cannon Group/Golan Globus Production is owned by MGM. Warner does not answer me either, but it would be necessary to ask MGM to see if it is not in their archives, or perhaps to ask Robin Garb who was the supervisor and musical producer of the film like for Rocky IV... Thanks for this info, I didn’t know Robin was producer for both, that’s great news. He was in the Frank Stallone documentary from 2021. I can’t find any contact info for him on IMDbpro or Facebook. Do you have any leads? In regards to MGM, Warner owns all Cannon movies that they distributed, you can see which ones on the Cannon Films Wiki page, they’re mostly movies from the 1980’s.

No unfortunately I don't have his contact. Fingers crossed for Sylvester Levay...! I think that when LA LA LAND RECORDS released the soundtrack of Tango & Cash in 2007 they couldn't find the tapes at WARNER BROS either and finally Harold Faltermeyer gave them a copy...if I'm not mistaken
