Spend $60 and a couple of hours looking over her houses.

Wow.

And it isn't passion that makes the dog come up with new designs for the couch. smile

Well, I like this talented lady. I watched her and Robert Redford on Oprah today. Oprah said the book gives many tips on how to design warm homes. Also, proceeds from this book go to a research foundation for women's heart disease, the leading killer of women.

People either like her or don't, but I admire her singing and her acting.

She does have that voice, I'll give her that. As to designing warm homes, I can only quote Paul Newman as Lew Harper- "Not in MY hoooome." big grin

Can't say I admire anything about her, but I'm glad the proceeds are going to a great cause. Seems, breast cancer gets all the attention, while heart disease kills more women. So, good for her. Of course, I'm not trying to imply that breast cancer causes aren't important, because they are!

She's not such a bad old crow, at that. She's not quite as vocal about her belief system as she used to be.

A certain irony lies in that phrase of yours.

I've said this before, but regardless of what one thinks of Streisand's politics, diva reputation or her music, I find her absolutely adorable in "What's Up, Doc?" She's both sexy and funny as hell in that film, IMO.

I am pleased that she's faded from the public light. I assume her ego will follow suit in a couple of years.

My dad loved her. I was never a fan, but I did enjoy her legs.

Would that were true of those who don't share her views, but speak far more loudly and often in protest of her exercising her rights to free speech.

Oh, the irony!

Let us hope yours subsides, as well.

My reaction after seeing that film was that since they had to seriously ugly up a genuinely sexy lady in Madeline Kahn in order to make Streisand even look remotely good by comparison, that said it all in regards to her. (IMO of course)
