I'd like to add to the chorus of requests for more music from TRIANGLE, particularly the climactic sections incorporating "Hot Liquorice." I have a vivid memory of watching that episode for the first time and having that thought that is so familiar to so many of us: "God, I LOVE that music! But there's no way I'll ever get it on CD." TRIANGLE is truly one of the show's finest hours, and Snow's score for the episode gives it incredible zest and energy; it really helps raise the episode to the high level that the show strove for. If Volume 2 is intended to favor the action material from the series, as MV has indicated, then that particular piece would be a perfect fit. This is not to say that I'm dissatisfied with the "Queen of Swath" cue; far from it. But the thing that is so appealing about the as-yet unreleased sections is how uncharacteristic they are of the show's typical sound -- jazzy, driving, toe-tapping -- and yet Snow still manages to make it fit within the show's musical tapestry. More so than many other episode scores, it's a piece which showcases Snow's incredible diversity and flexibility. Some other episodes it would be great to have music from: - Die Hand Die Verletzt - some fantastic OMEN-esque choral bits in this one. - Pusher - terrific episode, and some wonderful, almost subliminal suspense material. - Home - even though we all might want to take a shower after listening to it... - Small Potatoes -- lots of great quasi-comic score in this one. - Kill Switch - I seem to remember some fun techno-y stuff from this one but I could be mistaken. - Bad Blood - as with "Small Potatoes", there's a lot of fun comic material. - The Pine Bluff Variant - seconding foxmorty's mention of the tense opening sequence. - Drive - lots of killer action material. (Again, I'm more knowledgeable about the first 5 seasons, so apologies for my ignorance about seasons 6-9.) Also, something that might make for a nifty bonus track is the score for the phony "alien autopsy" video in JOSE CHUNG'S "FROM OUTER SPACE": a bit of hilariously low-fi synth stuff that's basically Mark Snow making fun of himself.

Love those GETHSEMANE requests by Eddadel! The first cue post main title in GETHSEMANE (the helicopter landing, climb, ice cave and seeing the frozen EBE) is a terrific, definitive piece of X-Files scoring. It would be great to see a multi-cue presentation of tracks from GETHSEMANE, REDUX I & II on the Volume 2 set in much the same way episodes PILOT, ONE BREATH, ANASAZI...etc were done on Volume 1. I would add tracks from Season 4's TEMPUS FUGIT and MAX to the overflowing (albeit outstanding) list of Volume 2 requests.

Full coverage of the release of Volume One on EatTheCorn! http://www.eatthecorn.com/dossiers/lllxfvol1.htm Gathering steam for Volume Two: more music from the X-Files! http://www.eatthecorn.com/dossiers/mmc.htm With 90 episodes listed and plenty of cues, this is by far the fullest list of unreleased XF music around! This is my "Massive Music Compilation", extensively reworked with suggestions from a great number of sources: the old and defunct X-Files music website, other bootleg recordings, various X-Files forums, feedback I have received directly, these very boards (all pages, all threads, bar the last 2-3 suggestions), and of course my own suggestions. A great thanks to you! I've added more music, audio and video links to samples (thanks a lot eddadel), ratings of cues, and thoughts on what Volume Two might/should include! I've stayed away from including anything from the 40 episodes that were covered in Volume One. However listening to Volume One now makes me realize there's more out there, so I may be updating it again soon.

Well, probably someone else has posted at least one of these, but I wanted to make certain I got my request in as well ... and certainly, first, thanks to LaLaLand for this marvelous collection; I've listened to it several times already. In order ... 4x24 … Gethsemane … several scenes in which Mulder and Professor Arlinsky venture into the Canadian mountains, where an alien body has been uncovered. The first instance of this wonderful cue occurs when they are using a helicopter, the second when they begin a trek up the mountain. 8x02 … Without … The scene in which Scully searches for Gibson Praise in the desert. 8x20 … Essence … the end scene in which Doggett and others protect Scully from "super-soldier" Billy Miles, who ends up being pushed from a rooftop into a garbage truck. I also liked … 4x1 … Herrenvolk … the teaser scene in which the telephone repair man is stung by an infected bee and the clone children watch and then walk away into the nearby fields. Again, thank you, LaLaLand ... can hardly wait for the next volume.

The X-Files was a fun series... especially the Darin Morgan efforts which were hysterical. There were 'moments' of music by Mark Snow. After listening to this release it has a few musical moments but mostly it is much like Bernard Herrmann's 'atmospheric' soundscapes... other than the theme, not much sticks. There is the MS traditional 'farting-hollow-sound' which practically defines all the episodes. Not much depth. Certainly a treat for fans of such soundtracks.

thanks people! Soon I'm gonna put some more videos, my idea is to trying to put music videos of all the requests so the people that not remember or never heard the music cue that someone talks about can hear it and appreciate it. Its gonna take some time but… by the way.... Disc two: 18. THE?X?FILES End Credit (Extended Remix) 2:11 Never used in the series - shortened version of the main theme from Truth and Light Isn't that the end credits used in the old VHS like Patient X (the two episodes merge in a single movie like video) when the credit weren't too long as the Redux or Biogenesis (vhs composed by three episodes, if you hear the end credits of this last ones, the music it's the End Credits long version) thank you sir. i have added my own request to the queue bruce

My VHS tapes are currently in a cardboard box somewhere 2000 km from me, so I can't check that out, but I'm sure that's it! Good luck on posting all the videos with samples! @Mr. Marshall: Will check out Fearful Symmetry. Weren't there elements taken from "Shapes"? A two-note horn motif that I've dubbed the "Nature motif" that Snow seems to have recycled in several episodes: Our Town, Nisei, Syzygy, Kaddish, Kaddish, and in Millennium...
