Ok, so Spider-Man 3, X-Men: The Last Stand and First Class, Captain America, Iron Man 2 (Debney finally prooving his worth outside of comedy films), The Avengers, The Amazing Spider-man (which it could have been made by any MV composer instead of Horner), both of them being orchestral, emotional and thematic superhero scores aren't memorable? If they aren't, then what can be memorable??
Spider-Man 3 is a good score.

Tyler has recorded the score with the London Philarmonic at Abbey Road, and this is what he mentioned about it:
"Actually, going for a thematic orchestral-choral score. The London Phil has a classic sound and really brings an epic vibe.". A themeatic orchestral choral score with The London Phil ??? Brian Tyler doses his best work in this environment. Hopefully the man was given the room to do something great. He has the chops to pull it off. A themeatic orchestral score with an "epic" vibe is something the Iron Man films have been missing.

I wish you'd given it to me! I like both scores; I'm interested in Brian Tyler's score for Iron Man 3 but I've found the franchise so far pretty underwhelming... IMO It's been since Batman that the best score of the year was for a comic book adaptation.
And let me guess: it's going to have a heavy percussion presence too?
(i.e. no different to every other film coming out this summer!)
Seriously, I'm not putting it down. I have absolutely no beef with Tyler and I'm sure it'll be a fine score. I'm just tickled by the notion that it being orchestra and chorus is any kind of news revelation!

I was sort of thinking the same thing when I read that. No offense to Mr. Tyler and his fans but I hear that in a lot of the current superhero scores. Hopefully it's better than it's predecessors' scores, which didn't impress me.

I wasn't whining I was just agreeing with another poster about Tyler's description of the score. Tyler came off like the score was going to be a something different when plenty have use that approach. I'm still curious of what Tyler will come up with for this film. I wasn't trying to offend you or any Tyler fans.
