Hey, did you ever hear from that guy that *reportedly* had that rare Airport '77 promo LP? Or was it a bust? Hi Mike - I've yet to see or hear definitive proof of this "one-sided 7-track acetate", however it is now almost a year since I last asked about it on the forum in question. Once I hit the one-year date, I will ask again as I was told I had to "be patient". Maybe I'll wait a year and a day - I think that's the recognised maximum amount of time one is able to keep their fingers crossed without risking severe cramp.

Cute, but $77.97 would only get you three copies of one score, right? 3 x $19.99 = $59.97, if you double that (for two Airport scores) you're already at $119.94 before shipping... Yavar Hi Yavar. Thanks for your input. My firmly based, scientifically sound and completely rational methodology is illustrated purely in your first observation - and works because I am happy to support the label in the distinct, separate release of each title, and to buy each one in this manner as soon as it is available for order. I consider the 77.97 an auspicious sign that this is what I will do in each instance. That way I will spend $77.97 to purchase 3 copies of Airport '77. And $77.97 to purchase 3 copies of Airport '79. I am banking on them not being released at the same time (a la JAWS The Revenge and JAWS 3-D complete) in order for this marvelous, firmly based, scientifically sound and completely rational sign to be valid. By then I will be so happy, that I will not be concerned that the numbers bear little connection to the first two films in the series, and will support any release of their original tracks regardless.

Got it! Thanks for explaining to me -- I thought maybe you wanted both scores on one disc for $19.99, and I had my doubts that they would fit in complete form... Yavar

There's a copy of the promo 45 for Airport '79 on Discogs. This has the Love Rhapsody vocal (non soundtrack) on Side One and the "Theme" on Side 2. NB The "theme" is the full end credits suite as heard in the film. http://www.discogs.com/sell/release/7823015?ev=rb
