I remember listening to "The Truth and the Light" at my cousin's shortly after discovering the X-Files in 1996. He made me an audio cassette copy, a cassette that was played so many times I wonder how I managed not to wear it out. Maybe because my walkman broke down first and because I later bought the CD. "The Truth and the Light" must still be the album I've listened to the most in my life, along with the odd Vangelis or Howard Shore.
To pass time while those last minutes pass by...
Here's a blast from the past, the official video of the X-Files theme when it was released as a single and it was topping the charts (yes, an instrumental piece was doing that!). Of course editing and timing is plain horrible, but it's the original official video that was on the channels, so it's a little piece of XF history nevertheless:
I managed to get in as 36379 which apparently made the cut according to LaLaLand on Facebook. Very much looking forward to hearing X-Files, SOCOM4 & Copernicus Star
FSM seriously took a pounding with the X-Files release, it took 2 hours to come back up.
