Yes, I've looked elsewhere but haven't had any luck. And you're right, I've had plenty of time to purchase it. But what I was trying to say is that it is difficult to find the funds to purchase all of the great releases we've had these past years. Yes, I've grabbed most of what I've wanted. But lately, I've been prioritizing purchases on older titles based on what I think will be going out of print soon. So I try to keep an eye out for the low quantity alerts. I'm sure many of us on this board have missed some titles before they sold out. Replicant006. Please send me an email (address in my profile). I may be able to help you. Thank you Adam! Will do that.

I'm shocked, as requested as ST was, it took this long to vanish. I don't think it took all that long, considering it was a $30 release at 3000 copies. For a score not by Williams or Goldsmith, that's pretty dang impressive. Yavar

No one can possibly buy every release out there, well I had read there are some on people that are able to do that here, but this one is a masterpiece from Poledouris. This runs rings around most of the score released today.

I need some feedback, I'm contemplating getting the expanded, but not sure. 1) Your thoughts on the expanded versus the original? I like the original, short but to the point. 2) For peeps like me who do the majority of the listening on long car trips, is it worth it? 3) Which would you choose: Starship Troopers or Who Framed Roger Rabbit Expanded? Aaaaaand go!

My take on it: 1) Your thoughts on the expanded versus the original? I like the original, short but to the point. I find the expanded version superior. The additional material is more than just repetition, it fills out the score and makes it a better listening experience to my ears. 2) For peeps like me who do the majority of the listening on long car trips, is it worth it? Yes. See above. 3) Which would you choose: Starship Troopers or Who Framed Roger Rabbit Expanded? I'd have to go with Starship Troopers on that one. Though I do like Roger.

Interesting. I checked SAE earlier and it was listed as Sold Out. At any rate, I've received a very gracious offer from Adam, and am making arrangements with him to get a copy of this wonderful music. Generosity and offers like this totally make this forum worthwhile.

Aaaaaand go! 1. The original album was incredible but all too brief. There are themes, ideas, and action cues essential to the score that are missing from the original. The expanded is absolutely the way to go. 2. Sure? Unless you don't like this kind of music in the car? 3. I'm not intimately familiar with WFRR. I've seen the film, however, and nothing in the music compelled me to rush out and buy it. Conversely, Starship Troopers is one of my favorite scores of all-time. In conclusion: if you have to ask, maybe you should leave one of the few remaining copies for someone else to buy.
