I'm excited to hear the little snippet when Batman comes crashing through the window at the art gallery to save Vicky.

What a cool batch of titles! Kudos to MV, Matt and all the gang @ LLL!

Sadly, I'm out of money now, so I regretfully pass on these. And even if I could afford the order, the shipment would be surely lost, as the horrendous Italian post service is virtually non-existent during the August timeframe. Oh, well.

I don't see why it couldn't happen.

First finding out Hayden Panettiere knows who Jerry Goldsmith is, now this. Are all my film music dreams coming true this year?

I can't imagine why it wouldn't! This is what, the fifth Bat-title from LLLR? MV did say if he had his way he would release all Bat-music on the label. Patience. I for one am so happy that this is coming out. I can't believe how many grails have been released in the last year alone let alone the last two and a half.

this is exciting news absolutely. if i hadn't scored predators already it would have been three for three, almost a grand slam but needed a fourth release.

i also very much hope batman returns is next in line on the bat train of releases. that may just very well be my favorite film score of well ever and i would just plotz.

i will also second the notion that if anyone wants to pick me up batman and krull at comic con and then finds themselves in the la area afterward i will gladly reimburse and buy you dinner.

I wonder if one of the alternate main titles is the music at the beginning of this clip:

Awesome news, MV. I'm picking up Batman for sure! big grin

Can you tell us a bit more about the condition of the source elements your description touches on? Thanks!

5. To replace that damn ugly 2 disc clamshell box. UGH! I hated those things for 2 disc sets!

In the past when I'd read that the old "Krull" case design was ugly, I assumed people were referring to the picture on it. Did you consider going with different artwork, MV?

Was there some contractual requirement to stick with the domestic poster art, or was it perhaps a financial consideration?

I'm ordering it anyway, of course.

Just asking.

Batman??? WOW!!! This definitely is my holy grail. This was the music that got me into soundtracks when I was 10. I can not wait to hear the film versions and the subtle differences. This will be my expended Starwars experience. THANK YOU!

Interesting that Krull gets another release. I can certainly understand it if there's room to improve the sound quality, and also to get it C&C. Unfortunately, having already acquired the gold SCSE release many years ago at some not inconsiderable expense and then the double disc Supertracks edition for a similar price, combined with not having a job at the moment and money being very difficult to come by, I'm going to have to hope this one doesn't sell out so quick and that I'll be able to get it at a later date.

What I'm more interested in is what the second JH release of the year will be. Wolfen, perhaps? Or something else...?

Hey La La Land Peeps,

I am personally really curious about KRULL. Are the tracks the exact takes/mix used for the Supercollector set? I know the sound is improved on this new one, but I remember very different takes used in the film (Riding the Firemares, Vella). It would be nice to get an those alternates. Thanks!
