This will be the longest Bond score ever. Running time of the movie is a record-breaking 163 minutes, so the score will be + 2-hours long, I think. Sadly, only ~76 minutes will be released on the Decca Records score album Complete score, please!

Not to pull a Thor but have we really come to the point where we are asking for complete editions of scores that haven't even been released that?

My vision of soundtracks marketing - on the same day: 1) Release of physical CD & LP releases of the score album 2) Complete score - digital edition. Same, as for Brian Tyler's "The Mummy" for example. And of course, No CD = No sale.

Seems, the new Bond is so bad, that probably God himself revoked the licence to release it in the movie theaters. Nevertheless I would understand producer's decision for a new delay. At the moment you cannot even hope, to recoup a nearly 500 Million Dollar budget. Maybe Jeff Bezos will buy the rights for his streaming service. One or two billion dollars... peanuts for him.

The irony is them delaying it because they don't want to release it to streaming platforms is they probably hurt themselves. They need to suck it up and just release it. Black Widow was the canary in the pandemic mine, both financially and litigiously. This summer is a bust with no guarantee for the holiday season. No, she's not sad. However, she has RSF, and I don't mean Royal Space Force.

Regarding future LaLaLand Bond releases, I believe we should remain cautious. What appeared feasible in 2019 may now be very difficult. Eon/MGM have a Bond film on their hands which is on the verge of being released into a difficult world-wide environment for film going. Co-operating on CD releases of music from previous Bond movies may well not be their priority over the next year or so. Throw in the Amazon takeover and we have a very uncertain mix.

But I wonder why this has to be so. Basically, they just have to sign off on the releases. LLLis doing all the work. And is the PR effect really so important for EON/MGM? The general audience won‘t care about expanded versions of „old“ film music. Why not just give us specialty fans what we want as long as we‘re here and interested?
