Dear MV,
any news concerning "Batman" (1966); "It takes a Thief", "The Rockford Files", "Magnum, p.i.", "The A-Team" & "Airwolf"? "The "MacGyver" two disc set still on hold?

Will there ever be the soundtrack to the 1997 film "Cube" by composer Mark Korven?

It was just released by Enjoy the Ride records on LP - I think it's too short to warrant a CD release.

Maybe MV has nothing to say/nothing he can comment about at this time/nothing wants to say/is also busy.

Let's not forget he runs a label, is married and has a kid, and not so long ago lost everything in a fire.

And that he as well as Roger from Intrada have gotten a little fed up with the complaining about what their labels have put out or haven't. If this has has died I think we have ourselves to blame.

“We”? “Ourselves”?

So we’re ALL lumped in with a bunch of asshats who bitch about every little release or non-release?

I’m not saying MV or Roger don’t have a point, but I don’t think it’s accurate to say we all do it.

“We”? “Ourselves”?

It's a common turn of phrase, that's all.

Exactly. This forum is made up of a group of people, all of us including myself. I use that term because as a group we can all be too needy and seem unappreciative of what these labels do. This has been touched on several times by others. Something comes out and it’s great but we automatically start asking what’s next or some complain etc. This is our forum from the oldest member to the newest. We as a group need to be better. We also need to take accountability for the actions of this forum. We can all do better and set better examples by not turning on each other, squabbling about silly things, being accepting of other opinions and being more grateful. That lies on all of us including me. I’m not calling everyone a complaining “asshat” l’m simply putting accountability out there for this forum; past behavior has pushed MV and Roger away and this forum is responsible for that. Sorry if the truth hurts. I’m willing to see that and understand it but I can’t help it if you don’t. Maybe when more do and there’s better behavior this thread might be answered again. Anyhow, that’s my opinion and it’s worth what you paid for it. Besides, guilt is for the guilty. If you haven’t been an asshat I’m not referring to you.

I think the trouble is that we (including me) keep piling on more and more questions without waiting for answers for previously asked questions... Remember the bit in Bruce Almighty where God gives Bruce a taste of it's like to get loads of prayers from all over the planet all at once and it's all an indecipherable and loud crowd noise? So maybe we should take a summer recess from bothering MV?

We're not worthy! Maybe if you sacrifice a few of your LP's to the soundtrack label Gods.

Funny I was dreaming of a La-La Land produced 2LP Close Encounters just yesterday. LOL

Eh. Okay. What other questions or areas of interest could we ask about in this forum? Been wondering about asking about the process of how their linear notes booklets are produced? La La Land's are so beautiful and articulately written by scholars in the field of tv music. If there was an Award given for detailed booklets, La La Land records should get one. Also, how do they chose which pictures and photos to include. Again, well designed and eye catching.

Not dead. Not sick. Not abducted by aliens and being probed.
Just super busy with royalties, family stuff and prepping as early as possible one of our most ambitious Black Friday slates ever filled with with tons of reissues of titles no one wants again and plagued with numerous mistakes to infuriate the OCD crowd.

More on this at 11....
