He also invented the eponymous frame and gave the German language its word for a room. Which is also where chamber music comes from.

Yes, that old saying "Get A Room!!" was transcribed by Hollywood as "Get A Zimmer!!" and henceforth, Media Ventures (then Remote Control) was borneth.
And Hollywood never looked back (except to say 'So Long Suckers').

No. It's 'boom shakka lakka' or whatever from Muppet treasure Island.

The BRAAAAAAUUUUUMMMMMM is the best theme ever written!

Absolutely. It can go in anything, and makes it contemporary and relevant to today's discerning audiences, like:

Row, row, row your BRAAAAAAUUUUUMMMMMM,
Gently down the stream.
Merrily, merrily, merrily, merrily,
Life is but a BRAAAAAAUUUUUMMMMMM!!!

See? Art.

Thread title should be: Who's the most controversial film composer & why it's Zimmer?

Only the master of music himself can write such a great theme:

How he did this you may ask.. well.. it was late evening and he fell asleep with his head on the low register of his keyboard... amazing...

jokes aside i really like some of Zimmers stuff like Interstellar, Gladiator, Dark Knight and WW 1984.

I honestly wonder if that actually does happen.

Zimmer had mentioned in older interviews that he has checked FSM Boards before and he and his collaborators also mention critics in forums and how they can’t help but look at what people are saying about them, so I wouldn’t be surprised if the most vitriolic people on here that defend Zimmer might be them.

Hans? Hans is that you?! Can you hear me Hans?!?!

BRAHHHHMM!!!!
