I'm still curious to hear from the David "trilogy" proponents how you get from Prometheus to Alien without a lot of duct tape. I don't think anyone can answer that question except for the screenwriter if and when the link film between COVENANT and ALIEN comes to fruition. Obviously, David is now in control of the Covenant ship, with all the people in cryo and all the eggs (both human and xeno), and he obviously has great plans with these resources at his disposal. It doesn't necessarily mean, however, that they're heading for LV-426 right away, nor that they even get there in the first place. As we all know, it's an Engineer ship that crashes there, not a "human" ship like the Covenant. The films can link in other ways. I'm very curious about it, and unlike most other people in this thread, I don't glaze this curiousity in cynicism and negativity. I have great faith in both screenwriters and Scott -- providing that it gets made in the first place. Crossing fingers!
